We are very pleased to announce the 8th Congress of the Spanish Society for Psychophysiology and Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience (SEPNECA) which will be held on 3-6 of July 2012 in Barcelona, Spain.

For the SEPNECA, the diffusion and exchange of knowledge generated in the fields of Psychophysiology and Human Neuroscience is a primary issue. With this goal in mind, we invite you to the eighth edition of this biannually celebrated congress.

This year we aim at revising recent progress in brain research and its relations with human behavior. The international orientation of the congress is reflected by the speakers coming from different continents to tell us about their research fields.

The scientific program will consist of 4 keynote lectures, 7 symposia, and 2 poster sessions. As a novelty in the organization of the scientific program of the congress, this year we make an open call to the international scientific community for spontaneous submission of symposia.

Barcelona, the capital of the Mediterranean, is situated between the sea and the hills and is known for its pleasant climate, inviting to enjoy the city. Apart from counting with an important logistic infrastructure, it is a dynamic place with unequalled cultural and leisure possibilities to discover for its visitors.
